Everything it does

One calm screen — and thoughtful details underneath.

My World is a home screen of big, friendly buttons, plus settings for eyes, hands and memory that have changed. Here's the whole picture.

See the family

One tap starts a video call to you — your face right there on the button. The camera comes on by itself, and a big red “End call” is always in reach.

Email that feels safe

Their inbox only shows people you’ve approved together, in large text. They can send a whole ready-made message with one tap, build one from phrases, or type their own — whatever the day allows. Nobody new can start a conversation with them, so nothing arrives out of the blue to be judged.

Their photos, always fresh

A full-screen slideshow the family fills straight from their phones — Share → Mail, and the picture appears by itself. No shared folder to set up, no app, no account. Only people you’ve approved can send, so nothing lands on their screen uninvited.

Radio & a gentler web

Favourite radio stations at a tap, chosen from stations checked as working — so a button never goes dead on them. And only the websites you’ve chosen together, with no address bar to get lost in and no pop-ups.

Made for after a stroke

Settings for one-sided vision, a shaky hand, difficulty with words, or memory changes: bigger targets, high contrast, read-aloud, and pictures instead of words.

Help from anywhere

You set it up with them, and you can lend a hand later — even by replying to an email — for instance to let a genuine new sender, like a doctor, through. Not everything travels, though: the first setup needs you in the room, and an email can nudge a setting but never show you their screen.

Designed around them

Made for after a stroke, and for ageing eyes

Choose what fits the person: content kept on the intact side for one-sided vision, bigger targets and tap-steadying for a shaky hand, pictures and read-aloud for word or reading difficulty, and extra-large high-contrast text for low vision. Sound and screen brightness move in steady steps, without anyone going near Windows settings. You can change any of it at any time.
